Do I need all modules?
No — Luminar Works is modular by design. Start with Luminar Core, then subscribe only to the modules that suit your operation. Add more as your planning needs become more complex or your business grows.
What happens after 5 resources?
If you stay on Luminar Core, you pay only for resources beyond the included five. Once you subscribe to any paid module, pricing applies across your full resource count. Volume discounts and annual billing discounts are available.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — you can downgrade at any time. You'll keep access to your subscribed modules until the end of your billing period, then revert to Luminar Core.
Do I need IT support?
No — Luminar Works is a web-based platform designed for fast self-service onboarding, with no installation required. After creating your account and selecting your subscription, the setup wizard guides you through configuration. You can then add your data directly in the platform or import it by CSV and move straight into planning. While API integrations may require technical support, they aren't required to get started.
Do Multi-day Planning and Size Up require Smart Planning?
No — both modules can be used directly with Luminar Core. Smart Planning isn't required, but it can make planning significantly faster as your operation becomes more complex.
